[MRCA] 6-Meter Op's at Gilbert

Gang,

I've heard rumors of folks bringing PRC-6's.  That's great!  Many are 
already crystaled for 51.0 MHz.  That's our usual 6-meter freq.  I'm 
bring a PRC-77 modified for noise squelch, so it should inter-operate 
nicely with the 6's and other radios lacking NEW (150 Hz tone) SQUELCH, 
and not hiss at us when in standby.  It still has tone on transmit so 
will work with the newer radios as well.  We'll set it up in the Howell 
building with a J-pole antenna and an amplified speaker, so you should 
be able to roam around and "phone home" as the spirit moves you.
