[MRCA] Howard County Hamfest Report

    I had the pleasure of  attending the   East Cost Howard County Hamfest 
Sunday sponsored by(CARA of Baltimore, Md).
There were lots of military Radio items such as: An R-390A in excellent 
shape with all covers went for $275 I am not going to say who bought it but 
it was the deal of the hamfest. An NOS  AN/GRR-5 with spares, mount, canvas 
everything for $175. R-392 for $200 but went for less.
     Best buy of the  fest were 45 Amp, 28 volt, switching supplies for 
$20.00
Very early(oh dark thirty) in the morning  I personally picked up a  NOS 
DAV-2  set with everything including the antenna, power supply, canvas 
helmet headset etc. Just sitting in a box waiting . . .

In attendance were  our own East Coast military Radio Net  NCS  Ted, W3PWW, 
World Class Collector Tom Bryan, N3AJA. Electric Radio's author Jeep, K3HVG, 
ARC-38 extraordinaire, KA3EKH.  And returning from sunny Afaskanstin was 
world traveler Ed Zeranski.
