[MRCA] Across the Pond

Hello,

I got a QSL card a while back from Herman PA3AWN that had a picture of him tinkering with his military radios.  I started some correspondence with him and alerted him to OMRN on 3570kc Sunday nights.

He reported hearing some sigs from time to time.

This evening after the net, he called me with his GRC-9 and RA1 amplifier at 120W.  I'm not familiar with the amplifier.  I know WF2U runs one called an LV80 with his GRC-9.  

Copy was QRK 4, QSA 4 on my end.  I was running Navy TCK and RBB.  If not for the QRN, it would have been solid copy.

Ted W3PWW reported hearing Herman also.
