Hi Perry,

Good to hear from you!!  Conditions were very intermittent over the 
winter months.  I did try a bunch of times, but didn't hear 
anyone.  I did make some east coast contacts with the TCS and WS#19, 
but that was later in the evening.

After making a self-commitment not to pick up any more gear, 
especially the heavy stuff, I just picked up an RAL-7 two weeks ago 
at a hamfest.  Couldn't resist it for $60.  Looks like its been in a 
dark and damp place for many years.  Brought it up on a variac and it 
is receiving BCB signals but will need a fair bit of work to get it 
up to snuff.  Nice to have the big RX with a regen control.  I'm 
wondering when this wonderful addiction will ever end.
