[MRCA] [Milsurplus] ASR-33

I think the Rolm 1602 used the same code as the Data General Nova series systems, do not know if the memory addresses the same way or not. Much that I have read about the 1602 leads me to think other than a boot loader nothing else resided in the system and all the programming was developed on a separate system, compiled and dumped on the 1602 by paper tape. Would speculate the 1602 was used for reading and generating transponder code for radar displays. I have a head for the 1602 but nothing else. There are lots of three or four at time of the newer 1666 that I have seen on Government Liquidators but the lack of pin out information, requirement for multipin new style connectors and questions about code and memory stacks have kept me away. I have been told that the control head that I have will fit directly on the front or back of the system but not having a system have no way of testing.

I have a number of Rolm 1602 (?) systems, but not 1 square inch of paper
on any of them. I know they were complete and working as I took them out
of a complete AMRAAM test station.

Any doc out there?
