I usually run the T-195 into a Andrews 365-5 HF balun to feed the open wire 
line. The T-195 does not have any problems tuning the 80 meter antenna(130 
feet) on any band including 160 meters due to the balun and the open wire 
line.
Since I am using a external  AC supply, after  I have tuned to a frequency I 
usually interrupt the 400 cycle AC and that keeps the automatic tuner from 
searching, looking for "home" etc.

  I've never tried it but always believed it could almost load up into a 
coathangaer! The T-195 can be a bit fussy about finding home while tuning 
but will usually cooperate after a little cleaning of the stepper contacts
