I wanna be your copilot.

Negative on the ARC-1 for me. I was going to try and build a vfo for it no
time so aborted project.
Do not have the facilities in the "war wagon" doe 24 volts.

However I do have a "pair of ARC-1 crystals that would put both sets on
frequency
Main problem is getting all the other setson frequency.

I have a very  light weight portable 5 element beam that would be perfect
for someone to use on N3FRQ's modern transceiver, he could hold it in one
hand and adjust for azimuth and elevation as well as and this is important
"polarization". Up to 20 db loss can occur with the wrong polarization.
I am bringing a URC-4 crystaled up to transmitt on 145.360, thats 145 not
146. Hope to break the MRCA URC-4 record from the mountain to base.

I also have heathkit pawnee on 2 meters.

But overall looks like we need N3FRQ or KA3EKH's equipment to be frequency
agile.
