Ahh!
The mighty Omega. We used to joke that the omega was just the worlds
most expensive electronic clock! Not any more! It also periodically
would "lane jump" and you would find yourself (by other means!) 32 miles
from where you thought you were!
A LTN-211 Omega receiver would make a nice doorstop or hurricane rated
paperweight and they look neat too!

They still receive Navy VLF signals, but can't do anything with them.
Maybe someone will figure out how to tweak it over to 17 kHz and pickup
the annual VLF event from the Alexanderson station in Sweden. Almost
all have been removed from our (Navy) C-130s, the remaining ones
probably will come out at the next overhaul.
