I'll agree with Dennis. In my case, I've seriously considered the
re-stuffing route but have elected instead to use modern capacitors,
placed at their respective point-of-use. I have resolved that if I can
restore the equipment to original working condition, and with the
addition of whatever physical reconditioning I can reasonably do, I have
done the job well. I certainly do appreciate the efforts of others who
take the time to re-stuff everything from paper tubulars to electrolytic
cans (which I do sometimes do) but its not in my restoration job
description, so to speak. If its below the chassis, all's fair.
