Bob,
Glad you have a copy of the book. If I might ask.... nay... implore you
to copy just the schematics, that would go 99% to getting these D-models
on the air. I did find part of the D model schematics on the web but
they are virtually unreadable. I'm re-capping and have come to a halt
owing to the total inability to read the values of the capacitor dots
through the MFP (even when they're there!) and the differences in the
earlier models. I'm seeing the subtle differences, now. Tuning, etc.
of the rig is no problem inasmuch as that's all the same. I do notice
that the D model schematics appear to have values along side the
component designations. The earlier schematics do not so one has to
refer to the convoluted parts lists. Again, if you can spare the time,
just the schematics of the PE-110D and the two parts of the R/T unit
would do the trick. Of course, I want to be on the list for a complete
manual at such time as you get around to it. W3PWW is also trying to
get another D model on the air for the MRCA activities, upcoming.
