Rob, 
If I might be permitted an observation.... I did an article for ER a 
while back which provided info on inserting a small Murata filter in the 
IF strip of the TCS receiver.  I find that I'm able to actually sort out 
individual stations, now, instead of the contending with the condition 
you so aptly described.  Be happy to fwd the info should you be at all 
interested.  The mod is very unobtrusive and non-disfiguring...hi!
