[MRCA] OMRN

Hi Gang:

Woke up with a screamin' sore throat this morning and couldn't get back to 
sleep so I powered up the FT-897 (yeah, I know, I know....it ain't 
military!) and tuned 3885 kc. Low and behold I was hearing AM transmissions 
from the OMRN!! My noise level here in town is S-8 to 9, so copy was pretty 
difficult, but at least I HEARD someone!!

N4QNX, DeWitt in Lynchburg, VA was nice and loud when the AC Buzzsaw dropped 
off. Also heard references to Ted, K3PWW, but I could barely him in the 
buzzsaw. W1NZR checked in but I might be mistaken on the callsign. The noise 
level was horrendous most of the time. Maybe one of these days I can check 
in if I can get this noise problem under control.

Just wanted to let you guys know that you are being heard!!
