[MRCA] Field Radio Demonstration

MRCA members are invited to participate in a Field Radio Demonstration
Sunday, 22 July 2007 at The InfoAge Science/History Learning Center,
2201 Marconi Rd., Wall Township, NJ.

This will be a informal MRCA gathering at the historic 1914 Marconi
Receiver Site at Belmar, NJ that eventually became the US Army's Camp
Evans, home of the Evans Signal Laboratory. Part of the base is being
transformed into the InfoAge Science/History Learning Center. An
important feature of InfoAge is the New Jersey Antique Radio Club's
Radio Technology Museum. The tentative schedule is:

· 9AM - 12 PM: Field Exercise and Tour

· 1PM - 4 PM: Public Demonstration at the Museum

We anticipate operating on 75-meters AM (3885KHz) and 6-meters FM
(51MHz). There's quite a bit of space here with mature trees and plenty
of grass and shade. If you're coming from a distance, you're welcome to
show up Friday evening. There are indoor places to sleep.
