[MRCA] BC-312 Restoral Info Needed

Hi Gang:

Looking for some documentation on the BC-312 which is my winter restoration 
project, as soon as I get the QRP book done for the League.

So.....anybody have any historical information on this receiver? I bought 
one on e-pay a few months back with a very well designed and built AC 
supply. I have to go over the PSU and check out the electrolytics (it hasn't 
been fired up for about 35 years) but the guy who did the design work and 
construction did a super job. Allegedly he was a BSEE contractor for the 
Navy.

At any rate, I would like some historical info on this receiver (where it 
was used, how it was employed, grouped with what other eqpt, etc.) Also, 
does anyone have info on general restoral and alignment?

PS: hope to have this done for the MRCA meet at Gilbert this fall. Maybe
