[MRCA] MRCA Meet Communications Readiness Bulletin II

A couple years ago I found a ham's web site with a home brew version of this
antenna but in a hard disk crash I lost the URL and the info I down loaded
on making it. I wonder if someone else may have this info.
Thanks.
Healthfully yours,

.......I have two AS-2259/GR antennas for sale.
$125 plus shipping. But I do not have any of the MX-9313/GR matching units
(I've been looking for one for myself but no luck......

I don't know why people get excited about the AS-2259GR,,,,,,It's not
resonant in the ham bands....why bother with it...any resonant low dipole
for your operating frequency is an NVIS antenna!

I am hoping to make it out to MRCA this year - have a "didn't get to go to
May NEARFEST" chip to cash in....

If I do go I will bring the GRC-9 and suitable 80 and 40 meter dipoles and
short masts for NVIS setup. I will also have the multimode FT-100D in the
Volvo. Would be interesting to see how the hamsticks on the Volvo will work
for NVIS if I tilt back the bike rack pedestal they mount on from
vertical.....

Also suggest we use freqs down in the wide open 3600-3700 region (if we have
enough extras who can run there) and stay away from the activity on 3885,,,
