[MRCA] Military Mike T-17 Jack Insulation Washers

Those washers were used to keep the mic circuit above "chassis" or
"frame" ground for noise reduction purposes, until the three mic leads
reached the final destination in the installation. In most aircraft
installations, at least originally from the factory, you're apt to find
a pair of these shouldered washers on the mic jack. On the subject
installations, the tell-tale is that the mounting hole for the mic jack
will be just a bit larger than the jack would appear to require to
accommodate the washer shoulders and the anti-twist, pin-hole will be
missing. Got to be honest, though, they always seem to get lost and it
never appears to make any difference? Its probably a good idea,
though. I used to have some in the junk box but it looks like they're
long gone, now. I remember that the BC-614 and not a few aircraft jack
