[MRCA] Its ALIVE!!

Got the PRC-64 receiver perking right along tonight. 

Put the rocks in it (3560, 3885, & 7030 kHz and tweaked the receiver slugs and things fell right into place. 

The slugs on chnl 4 (7030) are about 1/8 inch above the surface of the coil form, indicating I might need to pull the RX apart and remove one turn from each coil, or not. 

Will work on the TX tomorrow... Am I shaming you into getting your 5300 working, Al?

MAN that receiver has a LOT of gain! The pots need some DeOxit along with the channel switch, but it plays! 

I have 3570 kHz on order from Jan for this rig. I will move 3560 kHz down to chl 1 and put 3570 in chl 2. 

I just hope the TX goes on freq as easily as the receiver came up
