Thanks to all who replied to my quest for a T-17 and
provided info concerning the BC-375.
I've decided to steer away from the T-17. It seems
that even the best of them are unlikely to provide
enough drive for the type 10 audio tube.
If anyone has a more recent carbon mic for sale, I'd
be interested. I also need the correct plug for the
BC-375. The jack opening appears to be 3/16-inch.
I've tested the 24 v circuits, and everything looks
good. As soon as the dynamotor is cleaned, lubed,
etc., I'll be ready to flame test in the CW mode.
That will also afford the opportunity to adjust
neutralization to get rid of FM-ing (which I
understand is a problem above 160 meters).
I attempted to post some pictures, only to discover
that such is a no-no on the reflector.
