Hi Roger:

Well, since I write for CQ-VHF and Pop Comm on a monthly basis, mine was free!! There is no price on my cover or on the inside so I was guessing at $14.95.

I am relatively new at this MilComm stuff even though I spent 20 years in USAF Comm Command, I still can't remember all the nomenclature and which rigs work with which accessories. This is something that comes with years of experience in the hobby.

Regarding the PRC-6 PSU.....I am in process of fabricating a battery box ala Breck. I have a sheet metal shop at work that is willing to "bend the tin" so I may take them up on the offer. Just because it will look a lot nicer than my attempts without a metal break.

I will keep you in the loop on the PSU....as Roger, N3PBL (Gunny Rake) also bought a PRC-6 at the MCRA meet this year and he is going to use it as a base station on 6M. So, I am working on a fixed station supply (which doesn't look like a big deal) for him.
