Hi Gang:

Should this posting appear along with my original posting of a couple of days ago which verizon (can you hear me now?) keeps saying they can't deliver, please pardon the bandwidth. 

I just received my advanced copy of Mil Spec Radio Gear, by Mark Francis, KI0PF. This is a beginners book, which is good for guys like me, (and will save Al a bunch of time answering my stupid questions), but I really like it. 

Now you old heads will probably shred this book up, but for us newbies this book is a Godsend. 

It is published by CQ Communications in Hicksville, NY and since this book I have doesn't have a price on it, you will probably have to call Hicksville and get a price. My guess, $14.95 or possibly $19.95, although I figure that the former would be in keeping with the size and format. 

Anyway, this newbie thinks its a good deal.
