Don't mess around. Buy a good quality inverter from eBay or someone else. There
are plenty of commercial static inverters around. Don't try and cobble something
up from one of  the cheap DC/AC inverters available these days. The 12 or 24 VDC
input units are often cheaper than a 115 VAC ones.
