Has anyone ever converted one to use as a regen on the lower bands? I'd be  
VERY interested in hearing what was done to it. In my opinion, the BC-1066B is 
a  real pretty little box that would perfectly lend itself to use in any  
shack. With a set of tubes designed for battery operation, the whole receiver  set 
could be self contained and taken to a field day or portable operating  
position like a SW-3, etc etc.
 
If anyone has converted one, I'd greatly appreciate the conversion  
information.
