[MRCA] RT-70 progress

Gents:

     I am having troubling getting the RT-70 I want to bring to the Gilbert Fieldex working on TX.  It hears sigs from my IC-746 and from some other milrads OK.  But I can't get the PTT to work.  I have some more circuit tracing to do, most likely in the 6VDC source for the PTT relays, found in the AM-65 PS/amp.

     I had offered to bring this radio to Gilbert, but now I'm not as confident I'll be able to get it working in time.  I will be bringing my PRC-25 along with the AT-271 fishing pole antenna, AB-591/PRC-25 rubber base and the AB-1135/PRC ground mount base.  Can someone tell me if this antenna system will be adequate for use at either end of the Fieldex?  

     I'll keep working on the RT-70.  But I wanted to let the Fieldex organizers know that I might not be able get it functioning by then.
