Rich, I have the February 1985 issue #293 of 73 Magazine. It has the
information that you want, plus the construction of a psu. I can scan
the article and email it to you if you want.
Here is some info to get you started. Looking at the rig from the front
and going around the perimiter (starting at 9 o'clock position), the
pin numbers are: 57 56 47 53 54 46 45 , middle center 55, bottom center
58.
Pin 47 is B+ to the final, about 500 volts, not critical.
Pin 57 is B+ (send position) that feeds the oc3 vr tube. This must be
through an adjustable power resistor (adjust to keep the tube
glowing, Key up and key down. It runs the tx osc and rcvr at 105
volts.
pin 58 is B+ (standby position)use another power resistor and adjust
like pin 57 but in standby position.
pin 53 is chassis ground.
pin 56 and 46 is 1.5 vdc regulated . apply Positive + side at both pins
(receiver filiments). Be carefull here, a mistake could blow
out all the rx filiments at once.
pin 45 is 9 vdc for the relay coil. Use an external 12 ohm resistor.
will drop the voltage to about 6 vdc
pin 54 is 6 vdc , externally regulated (about 2 amps draw) it runs the
final fil plus the osc , buffer, and modulator filiments.
pin 55 not used.
