FM Tactical GUARD CHANNEL: 51.0 MHz (low-power squad radios)
1st ALTERNATE FM 51.6 MHz
2nd ALTERNATE FM 51.4 MHz
3rd ALTERNATE FM 50.4 MHz
51.0 Mhz is recommended for low-power squad radios, as most of the
AN/PRT-4 AN/PRR-9 sets come equipped with 51.0 Mhz.
It is recommended that any high-power tactical-FM radios (more than 10Watts)
be operated within the 50.3 thru 50.6 MHz segment in order to limit potential
interference within the Pacific DX window of 50.1-50.125 MHz..
Recommended channels, in which all military sets would be compatible,
are 50.4, and 50.5 Mhz.
The alternate channels listed are for use when significant band
openings create significant Interference on 51.0 MHz
