Hi,
I don't want to ship the Breting with its beautiful mirrored dial, so thi=
s
would have to be conducted within mutually agreeable distance of central
NJ.

The Breting 14 is a very good ham receiver of 1936 vintage, having a
crystal filter with front-panel phasing control, 2 RF stages on the 7-14M=
c
band, and p-p 6F6s in the output stage. Mine has been fully recapped and=

out-of-spec resistors replaced to get screen voltages etc. right. I took=

lots of pictures before I started work, during, and after. The front pan=
el
is in good shape but a bit faded. The cabinet could use a little aesthet=
ic
work but is sound. I will include a new set of output tubes, and all the=

documentation of my restoration.

What I am looking for:
List One, things that might work as a one-to-one swap:
Navy TBK transmitter
RCA ham transmitter

List Two, things that might work if supplemented with item(s) from list 3=
:
Receivers in RCA AR-88 family, ie AR-88D or F, Navy REK or RDM, CR-88,
CR-91, Army R-320/URR

List 3:
Navy Typewriter, WWII vintage
Navy Radio Room Clock, WWII vintage
Navy motor-generator set, transmitting.
Non-receiver pieces of Navy RDM or RCA DR-89 diversity receivers
861 transmitting tubes, must pass filament and gas tests
Original Manuals for AR-88 family
WWII night vision/infrared signalling gear
7' Black wrinkle rack
RCA AR-77 receiver

Thank you for looking. Feel free to forward to parties you think may be
interested.
