[MRCA] 2003 Meet

Gentlemen,

It's time to start thinking seriously about this years MRCA 
meet, 5-6 September, in Gilbert, Pa.  There is revised 
information on the website at http://www.milradio.org/
This includes a flyer w/ map in .pdf format that you can 
print out and share with your friends.

The Field Exercise starts at 13:00 on Friday.  Is anyone 
interested in working SSB as well as AM on 75M or FM on 
51MHz?  I dusted off the PRC-47 this AM and worked a couple 
of Museum Ships with the 15-foot whip on 40M.  I'm currently 
stuck on LSB.

Formal presentations are scheduled for Saturday morning. HT 
net will be held at 12:00.  The entire afternoon is given 
over to your display items.  We'll be using a show-and-tell 
format where we'll troop around, and everyone will get 5-10 
minutes to show there stuff to most of us at once.  This 
will include a tour of stations deployed outside the building.

You're welcome to show up at the Fairgrounds after 12:00, 
Thursday  and stay over until 12:00, Sunday if that eases 
your travel plans.
