[MRCA] Seacoast confirms his arrogance - AGAIN

I was going to refrain from posting the information regarding the above
military surplus seller at the suggestion of some other members of this
forum, who's knowledge and advise I have grown to trust and respect.
However, the other party involved has attempted to discredit me with
e-bay, a resource that I often use as an instrument with which I am able
to obtain items for my hobby, the restoration of my M35. I now consider
my sharing of this incident a service to my fellow hobbyists.

After having the winning bid for some NOS window channels for my M35, I
went to pay the seller. It was at that time that I first noticed the
seller was Seacoast Supply, I name I have seen negatively mentioned
quite often recently on the forum. I contacted the seller and expressed
my concerns with sending money to someone who has been accused multiple
times of not sending items that have been paid for. Here is what I sent
to Charlie at Seacoast Supply:

Charlie,
"I received your auto response from my e-bay purchase. However, I will
not send any payment until I hear from you directly regarding my
concerns about your failure to ship to many, many people. I have enough
children to support and do not intend to adopt another. I will wait for
your response regarding this matter before I send you payment. Upon your
satisfactory explanation I will send payment immediately. A copy of this
e-mail, along with my original e-mail and those on the mil-veh list will
be made available to e-bay if there is any question made in regard to my
sincerity."

His response was as follows:
"Ask questions before you bid. if you pay you get your item if your not
a pain in the ass, simple enough."

I then replied that, "That was NOT simple enough, and I would not be
sending him any money - that a buyer has the right to their item once it
is paid for, regardless of the status of Charlie's rectal nerve endings!"

It was at that time that my decision was made to drop the matter. That
decision stood until I got an e-mail from e-bay stating that Charlie
reported me as a non-paying bidder, which could result in my bidding
privileges being suspended. That was about an hour ago, at which time I
decided that anyone who feels he can take money under false pretenses
needs to be exposed.

We all rely upon a network of surplus dealers, who attempt to be honest
and fair in their transactions. Fortunately, dealers with an attitude
like that expressed by Seacoast Surplus are few and far between.
