Hi Rob and rest of Gang
So nice to recieve such friendly replies from our American cousins!
Rob , you are a lucky fella with that kit
My collection is quite varied, apart from owning an Ex Military airportable
L/Rover fully kitted out with HF and VHF mostly Larkspur based, I have a
collection dating from WW 11 up to present day, with an emphasis on Manpack
Transceivers both VHF and HF, usually prefer the latter, for field days
events, etc.
I have also the obligatory boatanchor or two, classic receivers AR 88's RA
17's Eddystone's and two very nice TX's an RCA ET - 4336 and a Marconi T1509
both in a working condx, sometimes pays to use them to cut through the poor
condx as experienced on 80 over the last couple of years!
So far, I have only experimented on the 80 Mtr band with those TX's quoted,
but keep promising to look at 40 and 20 Mtrs soon
So cheers guy's and let us have those freq.'s, you never know

P.S. On a sour note, I have been hearing stories about some of your
countrymen being ripped off by a British dealer, if I can give you any help
or advice, don't hesitate to send me a private mail, and if in doubt, give
wait out! (This is not all of the dealers, by the way) 73'ssssssss
