I am not familiar with these radios at all. The immediate problem with them is that they won't power up. Batteries won't charge about about 2.6V, should be 3.7V.?? Anybody got some advise before I start opening one of these things up?? Is there any trick to hooking these up to external power? It consists of a Systems 90 control head with siren/PA module, power & control cabling with connectors, and TLN1691B siren power amplifier. All mounting hardware is included, along with an original Motorola manual. The control head can be integrated with other Systems 90 options and accessories, and can also be interfaced to other equipment. The power amplifier can drive a 100 watt speaker (85 watts RMS at 13.6V and 115 watts at 15 volts) in siren mode, and 45-55 watts RMS in public address mode. No speaker is included. Siren modes include Manual, Wail, Wail Override, Yelp, and Hi-Lo. This system is in fully operating, and in very good electrical and cosmetic condition. It has never been operated mobile. Rather, it was incorporated into a home burglar alarm system, and interfaced to an included custom alarm control board (timers, indicators) which is triggered by either normally-closed or normally-open sensor loops. Construction notes also included. The "Motorola part" of this system can easily be separated from the burglar alarm control board by simply removing the alarm board from the control head (see photos for details).
