Motorola MaxTrack 300, 2 m Mobile Transceiver: This Motorola 2 meter FM transceiver is obviously a commercial quality radio that has a very "tight" receiver, with much better quality than the normal ham rig. Of course it is type accepted to be used on commercial frequencies. This one produces about 50 watts output. Included with it is more paper work than one can imagine. It includes not only the operating manual as one would expect, but also has complete alignment info. It appears that a Motorola engineer did a complete alignment and test on it, using Motorola test equipment, just before he retired. The bottom line is that you can absolutely be assured it is working as it should. Cosmetically, it looks extremely nice. In addition to the paper work listed above, it includes a Motorola hand mic, power cord, and antenna adapter so a PL-259 can be used. Only $100. . . Motorola Test Equipment For Sale: . . Motorola S1053C AC Voltmeter: The S1053C is an AC voltmeter with full scale readings of 1 millivolt (-72 dBm) to 300 volts (+52 dBm) in 12 ranges, and is rated +/- 2% from 50 Hz to 300 kHz, or +/-3% from 20 Hz to 1 MHz. It includes a high gain isolation amplifier, and can be AC or Battery operated. It is housed in a very heavy duty steel case, suitable for field use, although it is certainly lab quality, and made for such. Because of its frequency response, it is ideal for audio measurements. This one works fine and looks great. It has a calibration sticker on it, which also shows the quality of this instrument. Paper work is included for $45. . . Motorola S 1067 A, Audio Generator This audio oscillator covers from 20 Hz to 200 KHz in four overlapping ranges. It is a laboratory quality instrument, but is in heavy duty case that can also be used in the field. It was often used to service Motorola communications equipment. It can be operated from either 120 V AC, or from a battery. It also includes a distortion analyzer as part of the unit. This one works fine and looks great. It has a calibration sticker on it, which also shows the quality of this instrument. Paper work is included for $60. . . Other test equipment: . . RCA WV-510 A "Master Voltohymst" VTVM: The RCA WV-510 A "Master Voltohmyst" is a very nice instrument! It addition to all of the "normal" VTVM functions (AC volts, DC volts, ohms), it will also measure DC current up to 1500 ma, using separate probes (included). AC frequency response is from 20 Hz to 3 MHz, so it is fine for audio AC measurements. The meter itself is large (over 7 1/2 inches) and has a very nice mirrored scale, so it plenty accurate. It even has a calibration sticker on it. The leather handle is in good shape. Cosmetically it is very good, but of course is not perfect, since it has some age on it. My guess is this is the one you will use for most everything, and your other meters will not get as much use. It includes both the DC current probe, plus the regular probe with AC/DC switch, as most VTVMs have. Paper work is also included for $100. . . RCA WR-69 A Sweep Generator: The WR-69 A is a sweep generator that is used to align FM radios and TV sets. More information is available at http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/rca_television_fm_sweep_gene.html?language_id=2 I do not know much about this unit, except that apparently it works. When I connect a scope, I see a sine wave at the output. Beyond that I really do not know how to test it. It looks great. Paper work is included for $40. . . I will be having more test equipment available (many with calibration stickers on them) as I get it checked out including items such as RCA SC-611 Broadband Sweep Generator RCA WR-70A RF/IUF/RF Marker/Adder RCA WR-69A TV/FM Sweep Generator RCA WA-44B Audio Generator RCA WR-41B UHF Sweep Generator Plus some HP, Boonton, Eico, etc. . . I also have many other accessories available such as many different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF and VHF/UHF antennas, connectors, miscellaneous accessories, etc. Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests. . Thanks. 73, Ken, W8EK Ken Simpson E-mail to W8EK at FLHam.net or W8EK at arrl.net Voice Phone (352) 732-8400 .
