Glenn,
I assume that you intend to fabricate a duplicate of the Motorola RKN-4035D
Programming/Test Cable, which currently is available for about $277. A
while back, I kluged a programming cable by modifying the connector on a
remote speaker-mike, but there were not enough pins to connect the testing
contacts. There is a vendor on eBay who sells a "RKN-4035D" lookalike cable
for about $50- but, like many items on auction sites, this may or may not be
a true clone. Since the test connector and contact pins are no longer
available from Motorola, your options are few. Just be careful to order a
cable that is compatible with your test box. The RLN4460 Test Box has
different connectors than the RTX4005 Test Box.

Subject: [Motorola] JT1000 Parts
I just bought a JT1000 and need to make a programming/alignment cable.
Does anyone know where to find the part numbers for the Accessory connector
for the side of the radio, the pins for this connector and the test box
connector?
Any help appreciated.
