This is the NPN-6036A. Also wouldn't mind finding the NPN-6039A AC supply, or the integral charger, the NLN-6531A. I do have the nicad pack, but will have to rebuild the battery, the nicads have turned into dead shorts. Just decided to resurrect this radio after a 15 year rest. They take 4 cells (26650 in series) and the LiIon cells have great shelf life. No more dead battery right when you want to use the radio. i modified a battery charger (NLN6531A), ripped out all the parts and installed an AC PS. It is a Skynet Electronics 15V 2.3A that is 3 x 5 x 1.3 inches. Fits right inside the battery charger case. Then you have the battery box below it for AC/DC radio. i have a spare NLN6531A, but it has some modifications. A while back, I kluged a programming cable by modifying the connector on a remote speaker-mike, but there were not enough pins to connect the testing contacts. There is a vendor on eBay who sells a "RKN-4035D" lookalike cable for about $50- but, like many items on auction sites, this may or may not be a true clone. Since the test connector and contact pins are no longer available from Motorola, your options are few. Just be careful to order a cable that is compatible with your test box. The RLN4460 Test Box has different connectors than the RTX4005 Test Box. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY -----Original Message----- From: Motorola [mailto:motorola-bounces at mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Glenn Little WB4UIV Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2015 6:27 PM To: motorola at mailman.qth.net Subject: [Motorola] JT1000 Parts I just bought a JT1000 and need to make a programming/alignment cable.
