Bummer! The high split uses a different circuit board, different firmware,
and many components of different value than are used in the low split. Even
if it were possible to hack the software to program out of band frequencies,
I doubt that the performance would be satisfactory.

The standard EX500 UHF radio operates 403-470 MHz, right out of the box. No
mod needed for Ham band coverage.
