Glenn ,  From what I hear some of the Mot Ham/Guys  talking YES They can
just a  Programming no Hardware ,  But it is a well kept secret for some
Reason I know for a Fact I would  get one  I have a 220 Converted Micor
Repeater on the Air in N/W Indiana , also a 440 Micor Unified Chassis  

I had read something about this on Batlabs but I could not find it .
