The Southeast Florida Girl Scout council has a Girl Scout camp covering a large 
area and they have a Hi-band business radio system consisting of portables and a 
Maxar 50 for a base station.  The Maxar was produced in the Motorola Gmbh 
factory and used some unique parts in the microphone and audio circuits and the 
special MIC connector has been damaged.  Not worth fixing in any event.  


I am looking for a functional replacement, desk top or mobile package 
configuration is fine.  Low power (25w) is adequate, no PL required, and 
basically single frequency TX, but would like to have 2F receive so as to 
monitor local Palm Beach WX channel.

Does anyone have anything to offer?
