Hello Joe,
Thanks much for the note!
Well, I agree.....the darn thing is heavy, that's for sure.
It was long ago when I aquired the PS "Strip". You jogged my memory. I believe it was the supply to a 100w Low Band base station.
Sounds like it has all the necessary voltages to power various "Project" transmitters (for those who still play with tubes....hi, hi).
I think it is worth keeping the PS in one piece, and attempting to find a home locally (Seattle/Tacoma Wa. area).
Thanks again Joe...have a safe 4th!

Hello Tim,from Joe w5jdy in Okla... If it is one of the two power strips I
am thinking about,it has either 600volts B+ or 900volts B+... The 600 volt
model was for a 60 watt transmitter and the 900 volt model was for a 100
watt transmitter.. Never the less, either one is toooooo heavy to ship...
Maybe it could be shipped Grayhound Bus... Not a joke,truth... They take
very good care of their shipments at a fair price.. The only bad thing is
you have to take the item to the terminal and pick it up at the terminal...
Everything I have written is just from memory and I could be thinking of
something all together different than what you have???
BTY Either power supply also has a hefty 6.3 volt AC supply,a negative 150
volt bias supply and and a 12volt semi-filtered keying voltage supply... I
do have some more information somewhere if I can find it,so if you are
interested email me direct...
Joe

nice "Plate Supply" and "Bias" for a "Tube Type" transmitter.
