[Motorola] Correct RSS for Astro Spectra?

Hello, 



I am attempting to modify a range 2 Astro Spectra to a range 1 [VHF].(For AFMARS use) 



The radio is:  T99DX+091W_ASTRO    T04KLF9PW4AN-UCM  (1 Meg. / 2.5 kHz). 



Will this RSS be usable? [R06.00.05] [RVN4001N] 



I have never "Played" with any type of SPECTRA!  Many Midlands and GE MVS although!
