Speaking of Micor stuff, I came home from the swapfest today with, what I think might have been an FBI or Secret Service suitcase repeater or remote base, model Q1002A. It looks like a 30 or 40 watt mobile Micor with a built-in switchmode power supply and control section off to the right. Controls are, power on/off, volume, squelch, speaker on/mute, voting off/on (A) Test and (B) Test, Frequency Select F1 F2 F3 F4, intercom/radio, Xmit, Simplex/Duplex, 2 wire/4 wire, handset level, receiver line output, XMTR COMP input, a 240/120V switch, three fuses and binding post terminals for external telephone line and 12V DC input. It also has an antenna connection marked XMIT/RCV and another antenna connection marked Duplex RCV. It looks like it may have been in a large Halliburton case. It's 21"W x 16"H x 5"D. Does anyone have any information or service manual on this thing? Is it a repeater or a remote base station? Thanks,Jeff, N9OFB
