Depending on the amount of damage already done, they may or may not be
salvageable.

I have 2 Motorola UHF Spectras that both have the same problem.  A few
minutes after turn-on the radios display error code (Fail 001).  According
to Battlabs that means that the synthisizer is out of lock.  Has anyone had
this problem?  Anyone know if this is a common problem? Is there an easy fix
for this? Thanks, jeff
