I have replaced some of my NiCad cells used in my Walkie Talkies with LiIons.
The HT200 now uses 3 - 18650 LiIons cells and reduces the weight of the 'Brick' by 1/2 pound.
Now I can just set these puppies on the shelf and they are ready to go anytime.
You don't have to trickle charge these LiIon cells.
I have 4 cells in my PT400's.
Not yet in the BC611, FHTRU and P33, but it will happen.
