[Motorola] FL 01-90 error code?

An 01-90 simply means there is no communication between the control head and the radio, and there is many reasons why this can be.  But as the others suggested already check to make sure that the radio is powered.  Although you didn't say if this was a remote mount as they also made the lower power Astro Spectra as a dash mount.

If everything has power and you still have the error then its many other possibilities.  If remote mount a bad control head cable or connection.  Or it could be a dreaded leaky cap as well, seen that before also.  The 01-90 is such a general error that they didn't put it in the manual.  But its mentioned on the Batlabs site as well as the RBTIP website.  It's just a general communications failure error.
