Yep, head over to the RBTIP website,
http://www.repeater-builder.com/maxtrac/maxtrac-manual-rf-power-control.html
We have a good article there about doing that!

Subject: [Motorola] Maxtrac in hamband land
Has anyone ever came up with a fix for the loss of power control when a
146-174 Mhz Maxtrac is programmed down near 144.360 Mhz? The radio receives
fine there, but the transmitter power control don't work and the radio puts
out way more power then it should, like 88 watts. I'm sure the PA would go
up in smoke if I left it that way. Thanks, Jeff
