[Motorola] HT 1250 LS+

Good Morning all...

I am looking for some information in regards to using an HT 1250 LS+ on an LTR trunk system, specifically, information about scanning with these radios.

This particular system has 10 talkgroups, each building or unit having a channel and one emergency channel for fire/rescue/etc... My goal would be, to be able to have each handheld scan the particular talkgroup for which the operator belongs AND the emergency group. While this seems simple, my local Motorola dealer says this is impossible -- they tell me that these portables can only scan all talkgroups.

I know that when using these portables in conventional mode, I can have this type of scanning (and it works very well!).

Can anyone clarify this? Is this the case?
