Technically, you can configure them pretty any way you want. So far as what
the factory built, the configurations for US land mobile were pretty
standard and not exotic (e.g T1R1, T2-2R, etc.). I don't recall the Quantars
being voting or cross-band, etc., but again, you can put whatever you want
in the rack! I don't recall /\/\ ever putting a scanning receiver in a base
station (altho anything was possible as an SP). To vote receivers you'll
need a comparator and receivers which will signal it. Goof luck..

A few questions about the second receiver (option) than can be ordered
with a Quantar repeater or base:
Does the 2nd receiver have to be in the same band as the main receiver?
Can the first and second receiver in the Quantar be set to scan or to
"vote" the strongest signal?
