Richard,
The H23KNB1110AN is a single-channel radio with one watt RF output and
carrier squelch only. The radio is factory-programmed to operate simplex on
one itinerant frequency. Since there is no RSS listed for reprogramming of
the radio in the field, it is not a candidate for conversion to 2m. It is a
synthesized radio, but the channel information is "burned in" at the factory
and is not accessible to the user.

Hi Eric,
>From under the belt clip:
Model H23KNB1110AN
Serial 710FPA0341
Under the battery cover are the freqs: F1-T151.6250 PL R151.6250 PL
I have no idea how to open the case to expose the rest of the unit (does
this thing use crystals?).
Thanks for all your help!
