[Motorola] MDC-1200 and CDM1250 radio question?

Jay,

Yes, the MDC-1200 standard only allows for a 4-digit unit ID number, but
that is in hexadecimal. You can use the hexadecimal equivalent of a
six-digit decimal number, and let the data translator convert it for you.
If that is too much trouble, just use the last four digits of the vehicle
numbers.

Subject: [Motorola] MDC-1200 and CDM1250 radio question?

Can anyone help?

It looks like the CDM1250 radio software only allows a 4-digit number
for MDC-1200 ID or Call Alert.

The problem is, I need to put a five- or six-digit number in each
individual radio and then display that same number
in Cimarron Technologies ANI equipment. My radio ID numbers need to
match the fleet vehicle numbers.

Thanks
