[Motorola] M1225 DPL/TPL problem

Bill,

Most commercial mobile radios are designed so that they go into monitor mode
(carrier squelch) as soon as the mike is lifted from its hangup clip. This
action complies with the FCC rules that one must monitor the frequency for
other traffic before transmitting.

Also, be certain that the "Power-Up Mode" is set to "Standard" in the RSS.
If it is set to "Monitor" the radio will be in carrier squelch.

I have several M1225s in VHF and UHF flavor. I'm able to program them for
either DPL or TPL, but for some reason all receivers operate in CSQ.

Any ideas ?
