[Motorola] "Handy Whistle"

The "Handie Whistle" was a Special Product designed for the Logging Industry to coordinate the use of various logging operations in the field.  Cable and Chain snatch lines to pull logs to loading or other locations traditionally use steam Whistle signals to signal what was to  happen.  Hence the name "Handie Whistle" using Motorola Handie Talkie  monogram for most portable products.

It was built in the Plantation, Florida facility and some of the early models have been around for at least 35 years or more.
