Not around here!!! This is the second one I have seen in FIVE years. I
have yet to see one show up at any of the local hamfests or swap meets. The
last complete one on ebay went for $335. It cost me $250 to get this one,
and then I put more into refurbishing the control head, so I am already
loosing money on it.

Dayton, yep, the land of unusually ridiculous deals it seems. I would love
to get out there some year and buy them up for $3 and sell them for $300
around here. The last lowband I sold went for $300, that one included a
siren/pa amp and cable.

If you find lowband X9000's, complete with the control head, speaker, mic,
all mounting hardware, and the heads are like new, for $3 let me know, I
will buy all the radios you can get for $5 each and you get a $2 profit.

I don't mean to sound like an smartass, but I know from experience what
these are worth, I haven't sold a X9000 yet for less than $200.

73,

Scott
